1. What is a native IP?
A native IP (local IP) is an address whose registration location is consistent with the country or region of the data center where it is located. This type of IP address is usually highly stable and has specific geographical location attributes. It is suitable for commercial, enterprise networks, and data center environments that require specific geographical location services. Due to the local belonging characteristics of native IPs, they are particularly important in business scenarios that require precise geographical positioning. Because of their unique value, the price of native IPs is usually higher.

2. What is a broadcast IP?
A broadcast IP (non-native IP) is an address whose registration location is inconsistent with the country or region of the data center where it is currently located. This type of IP uses special means to allocate IP addresses that originally belonged to other regions to different countries or regions for use. The price of broadcast IP is relatively low, and in most cases, users can hardly feel the difference from local IP, so it is widely used in business scenarios that do not require strict local attribution, such as international access and general data transmission.

3. What is residential IP?
Residential IP is usually also a kind of native IP, which is characterized by being assigned to home users by local Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Unlike native IP, residential IP is closer to the daily Internet usage needs of individual users, so it is often used in scenarios that need to break through IP restrictions, such as regionally restricted games, streaming services, e-commerce platforms, and online learning. Compared with computer room IP, residential IP is closer to the actual usage of home users.

Summary: For different business needs, it is crucial to choose the right IP type. If the business requires high accuracy of geographic location, native IP is the first choice; if cost-effectiveness is more important and local attributes are not required, broadcast IP is the appropriate choice; and for application scenarios that need to meet the usage habits of home users and want to bypass regional restrictions, residential IP is the best choice. Understanding these differences can help better configure and optimize network resources.
